Module 2: Meditation and the Horse

Discover meditation as a shared experience between human and horse. This module introduces accessible meditation techniques and how horses respond to—and often join in—these peaceful, heart-centered states.

Module 3: Energy Exchange with the Horse

Learn how to sense, regulate, and share energy with horses. Through subtle cues and awareness, you’ll begin to understand the energetic language horses speak and how to harmonize your own energy in response.

Module 4: The Journey into the Herd

Experience what it means to truly become part of the herd. In this final module, you’ll integrate all previous teachings as you enter the horse’s world with respect, receptivity, and a deepened sense of self-awareness and connection.

The Healing Horse Herd Method™ Practitioner Certification Program

This 20-hour certification program qualifies you as a practitioner upon completion. It is only offered as part of a fully immersive retreat, where students engage in a transformative journey of learning—about the program, themselves, and the horse—simultaneously.

The curriculum includes tools such as mindfulness, meditation, energy exchange, and an in-depth understanding of horse and herd behavior. These elements help students deepen their self-awareness while gaining insight into the equine experience.

The program blends instructional time with practice sessions alongside horses. These sessions, held in private or group settings, guide students in becoming part of the herd through quiet, mindful presence. The horses are not asked to perform; instead, they simply share space and reflect the student’s energetic state, in alignment with the program’s principles.

This 20 hour certification in Equine-Assisted Education offers an immersive journey from self-awareness to relational harmony. This certificate of completion can be used for personal development or alongside other equine-assisted healing modalities.

The certification program follows the Manual Modules with personalized experience to work with a Healing Herd of Horses.

Lecture is 12 hours; Equine practice 8 hours

The Healing Horse Herd Method™ Facilitator Certification Program is coming soon! (Fall 2026)

This 40 hour certification program will allow you to utilize this method professionally as a stand alone in 1:1 coaching facilitation. (Group facilitation for workshops and retreats must be done through personalized Teacher Training). Certification will be done as a hybrid of online and in person. Must complete the Practitioner Program before applying. Membership required.

The Healing Horse Herd Method™ Teacher Training Program is coming in 2027!

The Teacher Training Program will be exclusively through in person 6-7 day retreats with a group of only 2-4 applicants. Application must be approved, and both Practitioner and Facilitator Programs must be completed. Membership required.
